Dik has done the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. As an artist (designer and organizer) he creates monumental images, mobiles, kinetic objects and installations that are displayed in many places in the country and found in public space.

Dik often experiments with fluorinated pigments in his autonomous work. With these or not fluorescent co¬lours, he tries to underline the intangible and achieve the widest possible spatiality. Well-built installations and swirling mobiles hanging on wire, so the images float through space; as if it is trying to explode the earth. With a lot of ‘fingerspitzengefühl ‘, Dik investigates how he can build a line-up with wires of different materials. In the air, vulnerable, floating to higher grounds.
