Discipline: design in metal and synthetics

During her education at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, mathematical figures appeared to be the basis of her work. Originally she presented jewellery. After several years it became clear that not all her ideas could be translated into the form of jewellery. So she developed new work on larger scale in metal en paintings.

Still, goldsmith is the key of her work. She teaches in the discipline and uses it to develop ideas in metal studies on a small scale.

Installation of cubes

The installation made of cubes is serial work. It started out of an elementary module: open wire objects in the shape of cubes, within which a diversity of characteristic configurations come to shape. This is how a three-dimensional game is created with lines where the inner space is never locked in.

The jewellery of Anne Rose Regenboog, that is often unpredictable and dynamic, shows the same idiom. It is very wearable and can be enjoyed as objects of art.
